Harry Potter World: Part 1
Well it happened! My lifelong dream to visit the wizarding world came true February 2020. Jake and I visited Harry Potter World at Universal Studios. We went to Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, Hogsmeade, and even Hogwarts!
We spent 2 days visiting the wizarding world. Already I long to be there again. Perhaps someday we will visit again.
Upon first walking into Diagon Alley my breath was taken away. Everything was perfect. It was as though I stepped straight into the books.
Even the inside of the shops were perfect down to every detail!
One of our first purchases in Diagon Alley was some butterbeer! I've never tasted butterbeer before. It is amazing.
Inside Diagon Alley we went to Gringotts Bank. You can even trade your muggle money in for some Gringotts Bank Notes.
You can also take a turn and head down Knockturn Alley. We even went inside Borgin and Burkes.
Outside of Diagon Alley we spotted the secret entrance to the Ministry of Magic and even found Kings Cross Station.
After heading into Kings Cross we found our way to platform 9 and 3/4.
After the magical train ride we arrived in Hogsmeade Village.
For lunch we ate at the Three Broomsticks and Hog's Head!
After exploring all the shops in Hogsmeade we went on every ride. Jake's favorite ride was Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. My favorite ride was Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.
After a long day of exploring the wizarding world Jake and I took the Hogwarts Express back to London and explored Diagon Alley during the evening.
For supper we ate at the Leaky Cauldron and of course we got some butter beer and even some pumpkin juice!
Our first day in the wizarding world was magical! Stay tuned for Part 2 of mine and Jake's wizarding adventures.
