My Workout Routine | Autumn 2018
Lately I've been following a simple workout routine that I'm able to to work around my ever changing schedule.
I've been doing weight training 4 days a week and doing cardio 30 minutes on weight training days and 1 hour on non weight training days. I've also been doing yoga on non weight training days. I like to work my workout routine around my work schedule. So say if I have Wednesday off I'll probably do legs Tuesday night so I won't be so sore at work the next day.
This past week I had Wednesday off so Sunday I sat down and laid out my weekly workout schedule:
Monday: 30 min cardio and work on core
Tuesday: 30 minute cardio and work on lower body (legs and glutes)
Wednesday: 60 minute cardio and yoga
Thursday: 30 minute cardio and work on core
Friday: 30 minute cardio and work on upper body (arms and back)
Saturday: 60 minute cardio and yoga
Sunday: 60 minute cardio and yoga
I didn't put exactly what I will be doing for cardio and weight training because I like to freestyle it. Some days I want to run other days I may want to bike or go on the treadmill. It depends on how I'm feeling and it also depends on the temperature outside. Most people will always say to make a plan for the exact exercises you want to do but whenever I do I almost always stray from it and do what I want anyway. I do however make a plan for time and certain muscle groups I want to work on and do exercises to work on those.
