Remember The Reason For The Season | Blogmas 2018 Day 14
When someone says there's nothing after death I don't feel anger nor resentment. I feel sadness. Sadness for them. What that person must have went through to now not believe in the fact they have an immortal soul if they only believe in the one true God. How do they get through their days? How do they get through the tough times? How do they get through those chapters in our lives when we all feel like giving up? What gets them through this if they believe there is nothing after this life?
I have a great life. I have a husband who supports me, loves me, and cheers me on no matter what. I have a loving family (mother, father, and brothers). I have amazing fur babies and one fur baby who is waiting for me on the rainbow bridge.
I know God has a great plan. Not just for me. He has a plan for YOU, for my husband, for my mother, my father, my brothers, and yes even my fur babies. He has a plan for ALL OF US. All we have to do is BELIEVE in Him.
He knew what he was doing when he sent his one and only Son. Jesus knew what He was doing when He was giving His life on the cross. He was doing it for US. So we could live in all His glory and have faith in Him.
Let us remember the reason for the season this year. It's not about presents nor what's in our stockings. It's about Jesus giving up His life so we can live ours to His word.
